Ryanair cheap flights to Barcelona Apartments

From September 2010 Ryanair will also offer flights to the Airport Barcelona El Prat. Previously Ryanair have flown into “Barcelona” Girona Airport. Barcelona El Prat is the 42nd base of their transport network and they will offer 270 cheap flights per week to the whole of Europe. Before they offered just flights to the Girona Airport, which is around 100km away from Barcelona. Flying to and from Airport El Prat is therefore much easier and more comfortable.

From El Prat you will be in Barcelona city within 30mins. You have different options to get to the city from El Prat. The train goes from the Airport to different parts of Barcelona, you can take a taxi or the Aeropuerto Bus, which takes you to Placa Catalunya, the heart of the city. We like the Aeropuerto Bus because it goes from in front of the terminal direct to the city centre, is air conditioned, quick and reasonably priced at 5,50€.

At the moment Ryanair has special introduction prices and if you’re lucky you can catch one of these and fly for very low costs. But there are also other low cost airlines flying to Barcelona El Prat, for example EasyJet, Germanwings, Vueling Airlines or Jet2.
