Mecal - Short Film Festival
Barcelona Restaurant Week
It is the 14th edition of the Mecal annual short film festival in Barcelona. It runs from the 12th of April until the 29th of April. The first one was in 1998. This year the festival has received 4,500 submissions for the competition. The official competition categories are called International, Documentary and Obliqua. The most important requirement of the movies are that they can not last longer than 30 minutes. A jury of film indusrty insiders will choose the winners.
Short films from many different countries will be screened on different locations of Barcelona, during this festival.
This festival takes place in different locations of the city, but luckely we have apartments all over Barcelona.

Barcelona Restaurant Week 2012 is the sixth edition of a 10 day event which concept is a week of affordable dining in top city restaurants. Originated in New York twenty years ago in 1992, this concept has since spread to over 100 cities around the world including Spanish cities Madrid, San Sebastián and Barcelona. You will be able to discover more than 30 restaurants several that hold Michelin stars like Loidi, Osmosis, 1898, Bravo 24, Windsor, Torre d’Alta Mar, and many more, with a fixed price menu. The price will be €24 + 1€ donation for charity (Intermón Oxfam) so € 25. Please note that this price does not include IVA sales tax of 8% and does not include drinks.
