In one direction from Apartment El Borne is the port and on to Barceloneta's beaches, seafood restaurants and the opportunity to enjoy a promenade along the seafront of an evening. In the other direction is the Barri Gotic, the old part of Barcelona, based on the Roman walled city & then on to the rest of the city! starting with the famous church Santa Maria Del Mar just in the placa behind, the Ciutadella Park & Zoo, The Picasso Museum, The Chocolate Museum, numerous bars, restaurants and kwerky shops down small & intriguing side streets, all in the neughbouring barrio.
