Sónar: With the rising costs of festivals in the UK, trips to foreign festivals are becoming a more viable option, especially as you are likely to be able to enjoy your favourite bands in the SUN! June sees Barcelona host Sónar, a festival of electronica music including techno, house, and hip hop. It never fails to attract the big names, past performers have included Beastie Boys, The Chemical Brothers, M.I.A and De la Soul. Calçot season: come to Catalunya and enjoy this very traditional feast of onions and a nutty Romesco Sauce. These parties, or 'Calçotadas' get messy but you will have a lot of fun! Find out more about Calçotadas.
